Private Tuition

 

One trial lesson of thirty minutes is provided free of charge prior to joining the studio.

Lesson cost is £22.50 for thirty minutes, £33.75 for forty-five minutes and £45.00 for sixty minutes. (These prices are fixed until 31.12.2022.)

Travel and associated costs to be agreed on an individual basis.

Payment is due in advance in blocks of five lessons.

The following terms must be agreed:

• Notice of 5 lessons must be given by both parties to end private tuition.

• 24 hours’ notice must be given in case of illness/emergency by both parties in order for lesson charge not to apply.

• Notice of known absences (e.g. holidays/trips) must be given no later than the previous lesson by both parties.

• The student and their family are responsible for the purchase of sheet music and other materials, and the upkeep of the instrument and related accessories, as reasonably recommended by the teacher.

• If mutually agreed upon, Trinity or ABRSM examination entry fees are the responsibility of the students' family. If the teacher is to accompany the student in the exam (dependent on availability) the charge will be that of one thirty minute lesson.
